Tyson Fury’s former coach isn’t too happy the heavyweight boxer has picked a new trainer for his upcoming bout with Derek Chisora.

Fury announced his return to boxing earlier this week, coming out of retirement to face Chisora in a trilogy bout.

In a video posted across his social media the undefeated fighter confirmed he would be enlisting a new trainer in Isaac Lowe for the boxing match.

Fury captioned the video: “Breaking news trainer selected for comeback fight with @DerekWarChisora.”

It’s a move that has seemingly not gone down well with his former coach Sugar Hill Steward who helped the Brit secure two wins over Deontay Wilder in his last two outings.

The coach left a comment on Fury’s Instagram post, saying: “Good luck with that.”

And in case you might’ve thought that was some genuine well-wishes, well, Sugar Hill made sure to include a cheeky little facepalm emoji to ensure that wasn’t the case.

Fury announced his retirement from boxing after knocking out Deontay Wilder at Wembley back in April.

His return to boxing was always highly expected with a wealth of potential opponents rumoured for the big man – including the winner of the Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk bout.

However, within his return announcement Fury explained one of the key reasons behind him continuing his boxing return was for this particular bout with Chisora.

He said: “I’ve decided to come back to boxing because I can be the first heavyweight champion in history to have two trilogies, one with Deontay Wilder and a second one with Derek Chisora.

“I’ve always said I’d fight Derek Chisora at the end of my career and here we are breaking all records again, setting precedents.”

As for the switch up in his team, he explained exactly why Issac was chosen to be his right-hand man.

He added: “Why I’ve chosen Isaac Lowe as my trainer is because when I was with Peter [Fury] Issac was there, when I was with Ben [Davison] Issac’s always been there, and when I was with SugarHill [Steward] Isaac’s always been there as well.

“He’s always given me information, he knows me better than anybody on the planet and we’re a great team, we’ve always been together and we’re going to finish this out together.”

Lowe added: “Yeah, I’m looking forward to it. It’s a massive challenge for me, and I’ve been with you all your career and I think I can put something new together.

“It’s a tough task but something to look forward to.”
