Just as the National Honours Award was conferred on 447 Nigerians by President Muhamadu Buhari GCFR, in the same euphoria, the Coalition of Civil Society Organisations on Gender, Equality, Child Protection, Leadership & Good Governance (CSOGCLG) Nigeria & Diaspora led by its Focal Person Elizabeth Oziri has conferred *Rescue Mission Ambassador Award” on Mr Talabi Taiwo O. Michael, Publisher/CEO of VIP Magazine.
The award was presented by the convener of the Coalition of Civil Society Organisations on Gender, Equality, Child Protection, Leadership & Good Governance (CSOGCLG) Nigeria & Diaspora, Elizabeth Oziri who acknowledged Mr Talabi’s contributions towards the advancement of gender advocacy in Nigeria and cited his role as a Rescue Mission Ambassador and man of positive impact in the society as well as for his contribution to social development services and impact on the gender-based promotion of women in Nigeria.

Present at the presentation of the Award was Dr Hephzibah Suobo CEO of Fifteen Point Three Ltd / Member VIP Magazine Advisory Board and Alh. Abdallahi Sani, an Abuja-based businessman.
Speaking to VIP media, the award recipient was elated and accepted the award as an encouragement to upscale his commitment to rescuing humanity especially women in vulnerable communities and girls at risk.
Mr Talabi Taiwo O. Michael is the Publisher/CEO of VIP Magazine, a lifestyle journal that celebrates and promotes reputable leadership in Africa. He is also the convener of the VIP 100+1 Women of Impact Awards.

The 2021 edition of the VIP 100+1 Women of Impact Awards was held at Transcorp Hilton Abuja and attracted the presence of UN-Country Rep. Comfort Lamptey, Dr Aisha Buhari, First Lady of Nigeria who was represented by Hajia Mairo Tanko Al-Makura, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, First Lady of Ekiti State & Chairperson of the Nigerian Governors Wives Forum, Dame Pauline K. Tallen, Hon. Minister of Women Affairs, First Lady of Adamawa, Hajiya Lami Fintiri represented by Dr Rose Gidado, Former First Lady of Imo State, Mrs Nkechi Nneoma Rochas Okorocha, First Lady of Ondo, Betty Akeredolu represented by Deputy Governor’s Wife, HRH Temitope Ajayi (Mama Diaspora) among other notable women present at the event.
