It was sheer joy and glamour when members of St. Joseph’s Boys’ Secondary School, class of 1992, gave back to the institution that nurtured them.
The Old boys of the school, located in Surulere, Lagos donated exercise books to the students while promising to give more and reach out to them regularly.
The members cheerfully distributed the books to each student at the assembly grounds of both Senior and Junior schools.
Speaking at the event, the Principal of the school, Alhaji Tijani Adebisi appreciated the laudable gesture of the Old boys.
“We are happy with your donations to the school. Also, We are immensely glad that you remember your alma mater. Hopefully, we shall put them to good use. .”
The grand finale of the reunion celebrations, last weekend, also witnessed the coming together of friends and classmates of other sets, who have had no physical contact for 30 years.
Some of the members who graced the occasion included Baale Toba Ajiboye, London-based, Mr John Omovbude, Dr Dennis Ugenyi and Mr Michael Odiong, the General Manager of Premier Records.
