Hammers to sell Benrahma

West Ham United boss David Moyes is allegedly open to selling Said Benrahma in the summer transfer window.

That’s according to a report from The Sun who claim that the Hammers are looking to recoup most of, if not all, the £30 million that we paid Brentford for his services.

Benrahma joined West Ham from Brentford in October 2020 initially on loan before making his move a permanent one just a few months later.

Benrahma struggled to make much of an impact during his first season at the London Stadium. This term though, the Algerian ace has shown what he is all about.

Benrahma bagged 11 goals and six assists in 48 games for the Hammers this season (Transfermarkt). Only Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen have more and Benrahma played more than 1,000 minutes less than both of those players.
It appears as though the ex-Brentford man didn’t do quite enough to impress Moyes though
