Liverpool have now reached a full agreement for Darwin Nunez to join the club from Benfica.
That’s according to Portuguese outlet Record, who claim that Nunez is ‘about to be’ a Liverpool player.
The deal will reportedly be the second most expensive in Portuguese football history. This will amount to a fee of £68m with £17m in add-ons.
It’s claimed that Nunez will sign a five-year contract at Liverpool. Full details of the transfer will reportedly be wrapped up by the end of the week.
With the forward turning twenty-three in a couple of weeks time, this will tie him down for what will likely be his best years as a player.
