The National APC Supporters Centre has issued a statement congratulating His Excellency, Yahaya Bello, the Governor of Kogi state on his new appointment.
The governor was recently appointed as National Youth Coordinator for the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council.
In a statement signed by the National Secretary, Honourable Nurudeen Mohammed Dangaladima, the National Coordinator, Alhaji Ibrahim Abubakar Batati believes that the party got it right with the appointment of Yahaya Bello
“I hereby express my gratitude to the elders of the party for choosing the right person as national youth coordinator. It is no longer the days of square pegs in a round hole. Governor Bello is undoubtedly, the best man for the job and he is bound to succeed in this new appointment”
“It is a laudable selection and also an intelligent decision to appoint the youngest governor in the country for that role”
The statement also read in part, that National APC Supporters Centre and its affiliates all over the country, are well prepared to give immense support and cooperation in a bid to have a successful campaign.
Shortly after his loss at the primary in June, Yahaya Bello congratulated the APC presidential candidate, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory and also donated his presidential campaign offices to Tinubu.
According to the timetable for the 2023 General Elections issued by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, campaigns for the general elections will begin on Wednesday September 28, exactly 150 days to election day.
