PDP advisory council elect Wike as Atiku’s running mate

In a bid to meet the deadline set by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) advisory council held a mock election for the three candidates for the position of Vice President in the 2023 presidential election.

According to VIP magazine, Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike won the mock election held at the PDP national headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday.

The advisory council was formed to review General Aliyu Gusau’s committee report, which recommended Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike, and Akwa Ibom State Governor Udom Emmanuel for consideration.
