Ameerah Sufyan, a Twitter user who was allegedly kidnapped a few days ago by gunmen in police uniform, was found on Friday, according to the FCT Police Command.
The police also denied reports that 17 more people had been kidnapped by armed men dressed in police uniforms.
Ameerah had previously reported that she and others had been kidnapped at gunpoint by armed men in police uniforms a few days ago.
The FCT command, however, said Ameerah is currently in its custody, according to ASP Oduniyi Omotayo, Deputy Police Public Relations Officer.
