Real Madrid have made Liverpool, Manchester United target Aurelien Tchouameni their top priority in the transfer market, according to reports in Spain.

Los Blancos were hoping to tempt French superstar Kylian Mbappe to the club on a free transfer in the summer but the 23 years old striker have decided to remain at PSG
Mbappe, whose contract was set to expire at the end of the season, was widely expected to join Real this summer but he telephoned the La Liga club’s president Florentino Perez  on Saturday that he wants to stay in Paris

Real Madrid will now turn their attention to Monaco midfielder Tchouameni, who has been attracting interest from Premier League giants Liverpool and Man Utd.
The report says that the Spanish outfit’s ‘priority is now to sign Tchouameni’ with Real Madrid recently telling the France international that ‘he had to wait at Monaco for a while longer’.

However, now they have missed out on the signings of Erling Haaland – who went to Manchester City – and Mbappe, ‘the funds are available to bring forward his arrival’.

Man Utd have been linked with Tchouameni for a long time but the most concrete interest seems to have come from Liverpool in recent weeks.
And former Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas would love to see either Liverpool or Bayern Munich sign Tchouameni this summer.

“At the time, I signed with one objective: to save the team, then 19th with 13 points. I took a big risk because relegation was possible,” Fabregas told RMC Sport.

“When I came, Thierry (Henry) and Vadim (Vasilyev) also asked me to help grow the young people. It was an important point. Today, I feel like I have won the respect and sympathy of this younger generation.“I hope I have helped. We like each other and I will continue to follow them, exchange with them. I would like to see (Youssouf) Fofana, (Sofiane) Diop or (Aurelien) Tchouameni at Bayern or Liverpool!”
