Nigerian recording artist, Temilade Opeyemi, better known as Tems, a Nigerian recording artist, has landed another hit on the Billboard charts.

Tems earned this chart position by being listed as a composer on Beyonce’s “Move,” which features her and Jamaican artist Grace Jones. From her most recent album, “Renaissance.” Move debuted at No.55 on the Billboard 100.

This is Tem’s fifth appearance on the most popular world chart. She received her first entry last year for her appearance on Wizkid’s massive hit “Essence.” Furthermore, she made history this year when she became the first Nigerian to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 after appearing on American rapper Future’s “Wait 4 U.” Drake, a Canadian rapper, also appears on the track.

This billboard appearance adds to Tems’ stellar year. She was named best international act at the most recent BET Awards in June, and she was given the opportunity to appear on a song on the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Prologue EP.
