Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has denied reports that he was in a car accident on Monday morning.
In the early hours of Monday, there were speculations on social media that the Vice President’s convoy was involved in a crash along Abuja’s airport road.
However, according to his spokesman, Laolu Akande, the VP only stopped at the scene to assist a citizen involved in an auto accident.
Osinbajo, according to Akande, has arrived in Owo, Ondo State, where worshippers were heinously attacked and killed at St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State.
According to Akande, ”On his way to the airport this morning, VP came across a road traffic accident, stopped to lend assistance, & ensured the victim was taken to the hospital with VP’s convoy ambulance.
”He then proceeded on his trip and is now in Ondo State heading to the site of yesterday’s attack in Owo.”
