Winner of the Big Brother Naija season 6, Hazel Oyeze Onuo, popularly known as White Money, has signed to Empire Mates Entertainment (EME), a record label owned by Nigerian entertainment mogul, Banky W.

This was revealed on the singer’s Instagram post where he captioned a picture of himself and the EME boss, “Now that we are in good hands, let the music flow.”

He went on to say that he would be releasing two new singles on Friday, September 23rd.

Prior to his Big Brother Naija fame, Whitemoney released several songs, including Rosemary, Your Life, and My Heart. His most recent release followed his success on the reality show. This was Selense, a song produced by Masterkraft in 2021.

Banky W founded EME Records, which is best known for nurturing the career of Afrobeats global superstar Wizkid. Other artists who rose to prominence through the label include Skales, Niyola, Shaydee, and DJ Exclusive.

Between 2010 and 2015, the record label had a successful run. However, things fell silent when Banky W announced he was leaving the music industry to focus on talent management.

The signing of Whitemoney could mark EME’s return to the music industry, and fans are eager to see what comes of it.
