WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM #WEF22 Davos 2022 – Realities & Expectations

With the estimated participation of about 2,500 leaders from politics, business, civil society and media, the Swiss mountain village of Davos is set to host its first in-person World Economic Forum in more than two years. From 22-26 May, key economic actors will converge to discuss pertinent global issues.


At a time when the world is caught up in economic crisis, ongoing pandemic, climate change and armed conflicts, participants are expected to tackle these global issues and proffer workable solutions.

The war in Ukraine and its tragic humanitarian consequences will be a focal point of discussion at this year’s forum.


Prominent on this year’s programme are sessions to address “global cooperation; economic rebalancing; society, equity and global health; nature, food and climate; industry transformation; and innovation, governance and cybersecurity.
